Meet Our Sweet SpecialNeeds Boy This gentle, affectionate boy gets along wonderfully with other cats and has a calm, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around. He's fully mobile and loves exploring, but he does have neurological weakness and muscle atrophy in his back legs, which means he moves a little differently and can't jump the way most cats do. He's currently comfortable, stable, and able to get around on his own. Veterinary imaging shows changes in his lower spine that may be related to lumbosacral disease, which can progress over time. While he has no urinary or fecal incontinence at this time, adopters should be prepared for the possibility of future mobility changes or medical needs. Longterm monitoring and ongoing veterinary care will be important to keep him feeling his best. Despite his challenges, he is a loving, resilient cat who just wants a safe home, soft places to rest, and people who appreciate his gentle spirit. He will thrive with someone who can offer patience, stability, and a willingness to support his special needs.
