About Rusty

Meet Rusty, a charming gentleman in search of a loving home! He arrived at Humane Animal Partners from a high-intake shelter, leaving behind a mysterious past. One thing is clear: he's all about making friends. Rusty takes his role as the welcoming committee very seriously, and any visitor will quickly find him expertly perched on their lap, ready to show off his majestic abode. With a heart full of warmth, Rusty adores his human companions, treating everyone like an old friend. His home is filled with unique treasures—while the cat wheel goes unused, his king-sized bed with cozy blankets is a favorite spot. When he isn’t hosting guests, you can find him napping or vying for the best spot on the cat tree, occasionally pushing other feline friends aside. Despite being FIV+, which means he has a weakened immune system, Rusty enjoys a good quality of life with necessary daily medications. He does well with other cats but would thrive as an only pet. He’s also fond of older children and seems to tolerate dogs. Come meet Rusty and let him teach you the true value of life’s simple pleasures. Ready to find out more?
