About Coop
Coop is a 4-year-old wirehaired terrier with a scruffy apricot coat and a ton of spirit packed into 13 pounds. He gets along easily with other dogs and cats, enjoys a good car ride, and is working on his leash walking skills. Toys are his obsession—he’ll pull every single one out of the box to create his own scattered display, but don’t expect any cleanup help. House training has gone well for Coop, though he may still try to mark, so he’s comfortable wearing a belly band when needed. He doesn't mind being dressed up, either. This little guy is especially content hanging out with his people, lounging among his collection of favorite toys. Coop is known for his endearing nooking habit—he’ll gently nibble or suck on toys, socks, blankets, or even your shirt, which really adds to his charm. Currently being treated for heartworm by the rescue, Coop has a relaxed, mellow nature and is looking for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved. Click apply to start the adoption process.
