Velcro (DMH Orange Tabby) Bio Hi there! My name is Velcro, and I’m a handsome orange tabby boy with a gorgeous medium-length coat—my foster mom says my tail looks like a lemur’s, and it just keeps getting fluffier! I’m about 6 months old and currently living with my brother, Velour. I spend my days doing what kittens do best—running, climbing, playing, and, of course, napping. I love toys of all kinds, especially stuffed mice, plastic springs, and anything with bells. I’m also learning about wand toys. I’m litterbox trained and enjoy both dry and wet food. I like being petted and will happily soak up attention—and I may even chirp or call out if I know my foster mom is nearby and I want some love. I’m a friendly, confident kitten who adjusts quickly to new people and environments. When a photographer came to visit, it only took me about 10 minutes to feel comfortable and get back to playing! My brother Velour tends to be the more dominant, slightly ornery one, so I’ve learned to go with the flow—but I can definitely hold my own when I need to! Because I’ve always had feline companionship, I would do best in a home with another friendly, playful cat. While we live together now, we can be adopted separately as long as I have a kitty friend in my new home. I haven’t been around dogs yet. I may do well with older, cat-savvy kids who understand playful kittens. I’m neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $150, and I’m being fostered in Colorado Springs.
