Rocket is a handsome chocolate pup with the perfect mix of playful energy and loving affection. He enjoys exploring the world around him and would make a great companion for walks, adventures, and everyday fun. He’s a friendly and loyal boy who has done well with kids and even met a cat in his previous home, where he did well (though slow introductions are still recommended). Rocket knows "sit," is easy to leash, and has been friendly with every person he’s met. He also showed nice, polite interest in other dogs through the fence. Rocket is playful and loves attention—especially belly rubs—but his softer side is what really makes him special. After his photos, he crawled right into a volunteer’s lap and just wanted to cuddle, and cuddle some more. He didn’t want to leave—he just wanted to be as close as possible. With his medium energy, affectionate nature, and sweet personality, Rocket is the kind of dog who will happily be your adventure buddy by day and your snuggle partner by night.
