Sugar didn’t have the sweetest start. She was rescued from severe neglect by the American Humane Society from a property overrun with dogs breeding unchecked. When she was found, she had a large abscess on her neck from a bite wound caused by a larger dog. Now safe with Flying B Animal Rescue, Sugar is healing and finally getting to be a carefree puppy. She is crate trained, almost housebroken, and working on her leash skills. She loves playing with other dogs, is cat-friendly, and has a very gentle, submissive personality — she’ll even submit to her tiny 8-lb puppy roommate. Sugar’s favorite thing is attention, pets, and cuddles from kids. She absolutely lights up around little humans.
