Meet Saucey! Saucey's previous family describes her as a total sweetheart who loves to be close to her people-especially if that means curling up in your lap for some cozy snuggles. She's a champion purrer and will happily let you know just how content she is! Saucey can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but give her a little time and patience and she'll quickly warm up soon after adoption. Once she feels comfortable, her fun personality really shines-she loves to pounce on small balls and show off her playful side. She has done well living with kids and other cats in the past, making her a great potential fit for a variety of homes. As always, a slow introduction to new friends will help her settle in smoothly. Saucey is on a wet food-only diet, and she's quite happy sticking to her routine! If you're looking for a sweet, snuggly lap cat with a playful streak, Saucey might just be your perfect match. Come meet her and see if she's the missing piece to your home! Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. (Cats in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the cat first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a cat for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org.
