Sargeant is a wonderful independent dog. He is playful and can self entertain but enjoys company. Good with certain male dogs with slow introductions but preferably female companion to avoid competitions. No kids he's terrified of them. He's about 3yrs old, it does take him a couple of days to get to know new people and new schedules. He needs an understanding patient home who has the time and love he needs. Not a fan of strangers but he is very adaptable with time and consistency. He is crate trained. Good on a harness and leash. Absolutely no cats no birds squirrels etc he wants to chase them I don't think he would hurt them but I would not risk it. Unsure about men. He's definitely fond of women though so his ideal home would be a single female owner or older couple with understanding, a calm environment maybe one other female dog. No kids. Other than that he is so sweet loves his belly to be rubbed loves to play outside and dig holes in the dirt. Tosses toys in the air and gets them he is really a lot of fun and would be a perfect addition to the right home. Could this be you? Please apply crossedpawspetrescue.org
