I'm a handsome grey tabby with very soft fur and what many volunteers say is an extremely cute face-their words, not mine... though I don't disagree. I was originally adopted from Chicago Animal Care and Control and was once called Grayson, but these days I go by Griffin. A name worthy of a cat with my level of charm. Around here, I've become a bit of a volunteer favorite, which I think is because I have a special talent: I love people. Truly. I'm an affectionate little love bug who believes the best place in the world is right on a warm lap. Once I'm comfortable, if you sit down, there's a very good chance I'll appear and settle in, like I've always belonged there. I also like to chat about my day, greet you when you walk in the room, and politely remind you if it's time for cuddles. Think of me as your friendly household commentator. My journey has had a few unexpected turns, and I'm back looking for a home through no fault of my own. But like any good Griffin, I'm resilient-and still full of love to give. What I'm really searching for now is a cozy kingdom where I can rule gently from your lap, share conversations, and be the loyal companion I'm meant to be.
