Meet Blue: Hi, I’m Blue!! According to my foster family, I am the total package: sweet, silly, well-mannered, and ready to be your best friend in literally every situation. About Me: I LOVE people. Kids? Obsessed. Adults? Also obsessed. Strangers? Obviously my new best friends. I haven’t met a human, dog, or even cat that I didn’t immediately assume was already my friend. I’m affectionate without being overwhelming and I’ll happily soak up cuddles, lean in for scratches, and yes... I do give kisses if you let me. My Fun Side: - I have a playful streak that makes everyone laugh: - I love being “pretend chased” in the backyard (I even do a ridiculously cute little crouch like a cat before I take off) - Big fan of fetch and tug-of-war My Smart Side: I am very food motivated (did someone say treats??), which means I’ve already learned a lot: - Sit, down, stay - Come (I’m super easy to recall!) - “Two” (I stand on my back legs) - Drop it (still working on this one) Take Me Anywhere: I’m happy to go wherever you go! I’m social, calm, and easy to bring along. - Trails - Soccer fields full of wild kids (I don’t bark, I cheer with my eyes) - Restaurant patios - Backyard parties - Road trips - Jogging Other Highlights: - Fully house trained (zero accidents) - Crate trained and sleep quietly overnight - Non-destructive (never chews furniture, etc) - Ride like a pro in the car (He goes to school drop-offs every morning!) - I’m equally happy in a house with a yard or a one-bedroom apartment, so adaptable Growth and Development (no one is perfect): - I can pull a little on leash sometimes (I’m just excited!), but I’m very manageable, even an 11-year-old has handled me just fine - If you leave unattended food within reach, it is possible that I will eat that food (unless that food is ketchup) - Baths are not my favorite. I will politely protest by sitting down and giving you my best sad eyes, but once I’m in, I accept my fate (but you still get the sad eyes) I’m the kind of dog who will match your energy. Want to be out and about all day? I’m in. Want to chill on the couch? Even better. More than anything, I just want to be with my people.
