About Olive

Olive CMCR #3483 Female DMH - Gray & White Tabby/ Maine Coon Mix Approximate Date of Birth 8/13/2024 Available Now Hello, I'm Olive and I'm looking for my perfect family. All about me: I'm a very mellow, young (under 2 years old), female Maine Coon mix. I currently live in a house with another docile cat, dogs, and young children. I do just fine in this environment but, honestly, my dream would be to live in a quieter home with humans who are home more often. I am most friendly and sweet when the environment is calm around me. When I feel comfortable, you will see my goofy, playful and affectionate side come out in full. Don't let my clipped ear fool you - I'm not feral in the least, even though I was living outdoors as a tiny kitten back in the day. I need regular brushing, as is typical of my breed, and tolerate it well. I love treats and will let out teeny tiny "meows" to let you know it's time for a snack. I like to sleep at the foot of the bed if there is room - sometimes the other pets in my foster home get there first, which makes me a bit sad, but I really don't complain. I love to take naps, hang out in my catio and watch the world go by, play chase with the other cat in my home, and I love gentle attention from my humans. My foster mom calls me a "sensitive soul" (whatever that means) and describes me as "meek." My perfect home environment would include people who are home often, no babies or young children (I shy away to give them space), maybe one other friendly, young cat (although not necessary), an experienced long-haired cat guardian, and fun toys to bat around when I'm in a good mood. Oh and I would LOVE a catio! I've been in foster care a while because my foster humans love me so much. They are sad to let me go but keep saying a perfect home is out there waiting for me. $175 adoption fee Medical services already completed include; *vet exam *spay/neuter *microchip *current FVRCP vaccine (and booster if applicable timeframe) *Rabies vaccine (if old enough). *FIV/FeLV (if a litter, one cat per litter will be tested) Cat's Meow Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit, foster-home based rescue.
