Meet Stella — a tiny survivor with a spark as bright as her name. This adorable, feisty little kitten was found all by herself in a rough area of Milwaukee, a bit underweight but incredibly friendly from the very start. Despite her tough beginning, Stella’s spirit is pure sunshine. She’s a playful little spitfire who loves to chase kitty toys—especially anything with a string—and will happily turn playtime into her own personal adventure. Stella is endlessly curious about the world around her. She’s still figuring things out, including learning that the big dog in her foster home isn’t quite as scary as she first thought. Because of her early experiences, she can be a little startled by fast movements and would benefit from continued socialization and a patient, loving home to help her build confidence. But don’t let that fool you—pick her up, and she’ll reward you with the sweetest purrs. She’s already litter box trained and confidently walked up to a kitty fountain like she’s been using one her whole life. As she’s settled into foster life, Stella has discovered she truly loves the finer things in life. Her favorite place to be is curled up in her fluffy cat bed, spending her nap time all nice and cozy. She also enjoys watching the birds out the window, happily taking in the world from her comfy spot. Stella is the perfect mix of spunky and sweet, and she’s ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and continue to blossom into the amazing cat she’s meant to be. The procedure must be completed within six (6) months of the adoption date. Once Best Paws Rescue receives acceptable proof of the spay/neuter procedure, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter. Failure to comply with the terms of the Spay/Neuter Agreement within the required six (6) months will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If the procedure is performed by one of Best Paws Rescue’s approved veterinary partners, the full cost of the spay/neuter is covered by the adoption fee. Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.
