Simba is a 2-year-old guy who was surrendered to us due to his owner moving to no-pet housing. Here at the Shelter, he is still settling in. Simba can be a little shy with new visitors at first, but he warms up once he feels secure. We are looking for a patient family who will give him time to settle in. He has a calm nature and enjoys soft blankets and catnip toys. Simba previously lived in a home with seven other cats so would likely do well with a feline friend after a slow, proper introduction. He is neutered, fully vetted, and ready for a new home. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat. If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting. If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours. All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
