Sol’s journey began in survival mode, found on the border of Mexico alongside Luna, emaciated, covered in mange and ticks, and unsure of the world around him. Life had not been kind, but through it all, Sol held on. Since coming into our care, Sol has slowly started to feel safe, and with that safety, her personality has begun to shine. She is gentle, tender-hearted, and quietly sweet, with a very silly side! Sol has a softness to her that is incredibly special. She leans into love in the most genuine way, learning that she is finally safe, finally cared for, and finally allowed to just be a dog. There’s a calmness about Sol, a peaceful energy that makes being around her feel easy and grounding. She’s the kind of pup who doesn’t demand attention, but instead quietly earns a permanent place in your heart. Luna and Sol are incredibly bonded and will be adopted out as a bonded pair. They are the kind of dogs that you don’t come across often. Soft, loving, and deeply connected, they will give their whole hearts to their family.
