About Orange Blossom

Meet Orange Blossom Orange Blossom's story started on the Navajo reservation, where she survived life as a street dog without ever truly having a person of her own. Because of that, she has worked incredibly hard to learn that people can be safe, kind, and trustworthy and watching her open up has been so special. One thing she has always loved is children. On the reservation, kids were often the ones who showed kindness to the street dogs, and Orange Blossom still carries that soft spot with her today. She is a wonderfully well behaved house dog who is quiet, calm, and respectful in the home. She settles nicely in her crate, does well being left alone, and would be perfectly happy in a home where her people work outside of the house. She loves other dogs and even enjoys cats, too. Orange Blossom does need patient, slow introductions to new people and unfamiliar situations. She can be suspicious at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through. She is looking for a calm, understanding home that will continue helping her build confidence at her own pace. Outside, Orange Blossom absolutely comes alive. She would make an amazing hiking or running partner and can truly set the pace. She walks beautifully on leash, though squirrels and bunnies are definitely exciting in her world. Orange Blossom has already come so far. Now she's just looking for someone willing to meet her where she is, earn her trust, and give her the safe, loving future she deserves.
