About Chiclet

Chiclet came out of a tough hoarding situation in northwest Las Vegas, where she and her son Chiko spent most of their lives outdoors surrounded by more than 30 cats and several dogs in a tiny apartment. When Chiclet developed a painful ear hematoma and received no help, things looked bleak until a good Samaritan stepped in and got her to a vet. Severe rains were coming, so even though this rescue rarely fosters, they made room for her and Chiko. Now safe inside, Chiclet is adjusting to house cat life and is proving herself sweet, silly, and increasingly affectionate. She’s starting to join her foster parents on the couch and seems to enjoy quiet company. Chiclet’s ear will always have a cute downturn due to the injury going untreated, but it just adds to her character. Her striking markings hint at her Bengal lineage and she’s house trained, vaccinated, and spayed. Chiclet and her son Chiko have a strong bond after surviving such neglect, and if you’re able to adopt them together, there’s a discount on each of their adoption fees. If you want a gentle and quirky companion ready for her real home, Chiclet is now in Las Vegas and waiting for the right person. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
