At home, Toffee is a happy, playful, and affectionate girl. She loves romping around with her dog friends, playing hard, and then settling in for some cozy cuddle time. She’s dog and cat friendly, house & crate trained, and thrives in a home environment where she feels safe and operates on routine. Like many sensitive pups, Toffee is still building her confidence in the big outside world. New environments can make her a bit timid at first, but this is something we are working with her on. Patience and encouragement will be huge as she continues to build that confidence. Toffee’s ideal home: • Must have a confident, well-adjusted adult dog. • A patient, understanding family willing to continue building her confidence • A home WITHOUT young children (she’s still unsure of younger kids) Toffee is also still working on car confidence, as that is currently her biggest fear, but she’s making progress with positive experiences, some desensitization work, patience, and time. This sweet girl doesn’t need perfection—she just needs someone willing to go at her pace, cheer her on, and show her how wonderful the world can be.
