About Loki

EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE CLOSE OF BUSINESS MONDAY APRIL 13, 2026 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY Name: Loki Animal ID: A889722 Age: 1 year 3 months Weight: 52.6 lbs. Web Link: 24petconnect.com/PimaAdoptablePets/Details/PIMA/A889722 About: Meet Loki (A889722), a striking 1-year-3-month-old black and white husky with a gentle heart and a lot of love to give. Loki first came to PACC as a stray in January 2026 and was adopted shortly after but sadly returned at the end of February when his family learned he has heartworm and could not afford the necessary treatment. Despite everything, Loki remains incredibly sweet and affectionate with people. He’s the kind of dog who forms strong bonds and will thrive in a home where he can soak up all the love and attention. Loki is looking for a home where he can be the only pet, as he has not done well with other dogs. With his heartworm diagnosis, it’s also very important that he stays calm and avoids too much activity while undergoing treatment, so a quiet, low-stress environment will be key to his recovery. This handsome boy deserves a second chance with a family who can support him through treatment and give him the happy, healthy life he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving husky to welcome into your home, please come to PACC and ask to meet Loki. Available for adoption only through PACC. Interested parties: Must visit PACC before the COB Monday April 13, 2026 deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduce you to the dog to ensure that it’s a good fit. Some dogs may also require an introduction to any dogs they may potentially live with. Home Management Plan No Other Dogs: • Loki is not suitable for a home with other dogs. • Reason: he has shown offensive behaviors towards other dogs, starting altercations. • Management: They should be the only dog in the household. Avoid dog parks, group walks, or introductions to unfamiliar dogs to maintain safety and reduce stress. • Behaviors could improve with proper management and/or professional training. Medical: • heart worm
