About Sonni
These two are a team - outgoing, playful, and endlessly entertaining. Both love window-watching, chasing toys, and following their people from room to room. Wherever you go, they'll be there. No closed door or cabinet has ever stopped Sonni - she simply needs to know what's on the other side. Seven months into her grand exploration of the world, she's already mastered the art of the investigation. Wands (feather and felt) top her toy list, and she'll proudly carry one around the house in triumph - until Daniel places a large, decisive paw on the end to stop her in her tracks. Don't let her small stature fool you: watch her wrestle her brother once and you'll know exactly who she is. ✨ Fun fact: They love Delectables treats - just call out "Churro" and watch them come running. Both are fine to be picked up and petted (scratched behind the ears 😊). Both are starting to be bit of lap cats - when they run out of energy. Sonni is learning to be brushed - thinks the brush is a toy. Sonni is a table and counter jumper, Daniel not on counters (so far). Sonni has no fear so nothing is too high for her - she lives up to cats can jump six feet plus. She's super quiet when she is leaping on places, I'm sure she knows she shouldn't be on 😊 Chewing - both are a bit of chewers, so I have a rope toy to help. I'm careful with cords - laptop cord especially - combo chewing and playing. Doors - Sonni will run for doors, if you try to close a door, she'll race for it to sneak through. If she's behind a closed door (foster room) she'll zoom out. Litter box - using Arm and Hammer unscented. Both are great with litter box, but Sonni does not cover. I have two x-large boxes. Food - both are solid eaters. Currently two cans each (morning and evening) plus dry food. Daniel is on the digestive diet wet food, Sonni on Fancy Feast kitten. Though they both eat each other's. They are grazers. Delectables are great. Scratch posts - I have a cat condo and a tall scratch post which Sonni likes (sisal). She also will scratch the rug and has tried on the couch/chair - she's pretty good when redirected. Sonni is a model cat - he likes the cardboard scratchers as well.
