On 3/12/26 Summer met another female dog. At the gate Summer had a wagging tail while sniffing the pet, she began (shepherd barking) towards the pet. Once in the yard the other playful female began to run around the yard and Summer chased her down and pinned her to the ground and over corrected her (the pet was submissive, would roll over to her show her belly). Summer would listen to the corrections of the handlers (using an air horn), would get submissive when handlers would pet her on the head. Summer repeatedly chased after the pet, only when the female would run and play. If the pet was not running around Summer would co-exist with her. Summer would likely not be a good fit for a home with cats due to her prey drive.
