Wasabi s a male black and tan small mix breed we think is Rat Terrier Chihuahua. Wasabi is maybe a year old and weighs 7-8 lbs. Wasabi is neutered, vaccinated including rabies. He tested heartworm negative and is on monthly preventive. Wasabi is ready for adoption. Wasabi came to us along with several others from a large group surrendered at a nearby shelter. He is so small he was age guessed to be only 3-4 months old but our veterinarian determined him to be closer to 10-12 months old. Wasabi was a nervous tinkler but that has stopped being an issue. He is a sweet, friendly fellow that tries to get anyone to play with him. He can be “busy” as he is still really young but he actually loves an available lap and the accompanying petting. Wasabi is young and submissive enough to learn to live with anyone (cats, dogs of any size, dog-friendly children). Wasabi is potty trained and kennel trained. He just needs someone to call his own! Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
