Chalupa is a Chorkie....a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix. She came to us from a home who owned both breeds and had unwanted litters until we stepped in to spay/neuter them all. Chalupa has been raised with dogs, adults, kids, but she came to us very shy. She would hide under the bed at her foster home. It took her a week to come out to the rooms where people were and let them pet her. Not aggressive, just scared. When she turned a corner and ventured out to meet the family, she saw everything was going to be ok. She likes the dogs and the kids too. Chalupa wants to love and be loved, but will need patience initially to settle in and feel safe. If you will give her that, she will reward you with so much love and be a fabulous companion.
