Shelby is a sweet, soulful girl with the softest heart and the most beautiful, expressive eyes—complete with a few adorable black lashes. Born around February 14, 2020, this Valentine’s girl lives to love and be close to her people. She’s incredibly affectionate and friendly with everyone she meets, greeting new people with a happy tail wag and gentle curiosity. Shelby enjoys being picked up (“up!”), loves her walks, and is always happiest right by your side or snuggled next to you on the couch or in her cozy bed. Shelby also loves other dogs and truly thrives with canine companionship. A home with another friendly dog is required for her adoption, as she looks to other pups for comfort, confidence, and play. She’s discovering the joy of toys (especially her yak chew!) and has the cutest quirks—like standing and walking on her back legs, and softly “booping” you with her nose to make sure you’re still there ❤️ Shelby is doing well with potty training (outside and potty pads) and is eager to learn, especially when treats are involved. She may need a little guidance with sharing space and waiting her turn, but her gentle, loving nature makes her a joy to have around. Shelby is up-to-date on all medical care and will be spayed before her adoption. Her adoption fee is $450. Her adoption will take place in her foster home in Davison, Michigan.
