Meet Florance! Florance is a sweet little girl of just over 1 year of age who joined us here at FCAR near the end of March with 2 other family members who have since found their #furreverhomes! While staff is still getting to know Florance, they can share that she is a curious girl who seems to really enjoy pets and light head/ neck scratches! We understand that if you don't currently have pets, you won't have a vet reference. In that case, we kindly ask for a personal reference instead. Why we ask these questions: We want to make sure we find the best possible fit for both you and the animal. For renters, we need to confirm with your landlord that pets are allowed, as unfortunately, many landlords in Franklin County have restrictions. Checking with your veterinarian helps us ensure that our animals receive the ongoing medical care they deserve. What happens next: Once we receive positive references from your landlord (if applicable) and veterinarian (or personal reference), we'll contact you to schedule an appointment if you're interested in adopting a dog. If you're looking for a feline friend, you're welcome to come in anytime during our open hours!
