Meet Keena! WHAT is this wrinkly creature? We have no idea. She's an odd duck. Her head is too big for her body. She's so low to the ground that she's practically a roomba. Her tongue is never entirely inside of her mouth. She's got stubby little legs and her ears are almost always practically inside out. She's pretty much perfect. Keena is about two years old and about 63lbs...and we're pretty sure all of that weight is her skull and her tongue. She's an American bulldog mix (don't you dare say pocket bully THAT'S NOT AN ACTUAL BREED) and she is just...straight up GOOFY. A certified silly goose, if you will. She's pretty good on a leash but can be a little pully which is understandable when your entire body is muscle because it can be pretty hard to NOT pull. She likes socializing with people and greets everyone with the same ridiculous face - mouth wide open, tripping over her own tongue, happy to be alive! She's got her basics down (sit, paw, come) so you should be able to build on that with no problem. She's a smart lady. Keena can come on pretty strong when she first meets new dogs and it can be a little too intense for the other dogs' liking. She doesn't mean anything by it, she's just a weirdo. She gets over the novelty of it pretty quick and then she's content to do her own thing...which basically means she's content to velcro herself to you and follow you around like an awkward imprinted duckling. We have yet to test her with cats. Since she came to us as a stray and we have no history on her, we would prefer kids 12+.
