Sweet Opal. She was trapped while doing some TNR for some stray cats. Once Opal was taken to the vet and spayed and vetted, we discovered this girl wasn't feral at all. She was an extremely friendly girl. She had apparently been dumped or abandoned. She doesn't need to be out living on her own, hunting down her food and risking the wrong person for a little pet and love. We have her now. Safe in our Adoption room. She is hanging out with other cats and gets along with them just fine. She greets every volunteer who meets her. She loves people. As happy as she is now where she is safe and being fed regularly, we all know what she really wants is her own home. A safe home where she won't have a to be worried about being left behind again. I challenge you to meet Opal and not want to go home with her!! It won't happen. If a sweet, loving, young adult is what you are hoping for, Opal is your girl. Just let us know and we will happily set up a meet and greet for you. Opal's adoption fee is $150. She is spayed, vaccinated, combo tested and microchipped. She does have a tipped ear, but that is because it was thought she'd be a stray going back outside, so that little mar will remind her new owner what almost became of her and how they are going to be her forever hero.
