Lyla was found tied up in the Bronx with a shoelace and belt, but you would never know it because she is so dang sweet and loving. If what you're looking for is a Velcro dog, Lyla is your girl -- she literally wants to crawl into your skin. She just wants to be near her people. It's only been a few days with her, but so far she is adjusting beautifully. She's been doing very well in her crate and has been sleeping through the night (a few whines at first but then she settles down). She has been getting along wonderfully with her foster sister, Cabbage and has matched her energy well. She gets a burst of play time energy in the morning and afternoon but is largely content to sleep away most of the day. She's been doing well with potty training as long as you take her out on a consistent schedule -- she always goes outside first thing in the morning after coming out of her crate. Lyla is an incredibly special pup with such a sweet soul and anyone would be lucky to adopt her
