04/09/26 13:56 Needs Rescue or Dedicated Adopter This dog is in need of rescue placement or a committed adopter due to multiple ongoing medical concerns requiring continued care. She recently underwent cherry eye repair (right eye) and is recovering well, but recurrence is possible. Mild entropion is also present and may require future surgical correction if it becomes clinically significant. She has active dermatitis with superficial pyoderma, including new skin lesions, and will require ongoing treatment. Due to her skin condition, spay surgery has been postponed and will need to be completed once her skin has improved. Additional concerns include otitis externa (ear infection) and chronic orthopedic issues, including right hind limb lameness, hip dysplasia (right worse than left), and abnormal vertebrae consistent with congenital/breed-related changes. These conditions may require long-term management for comfort and mobility. Despite these medical needs, she remains bright, alert, and ambulatory. Rescue or adopter should be prepared for ongoing veterinary care and follow-up.
