About Ziggy
Ziggy is one of the older kittens at Centre County PAWS. He has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), often called wobbly cats, our team will be happy to talk to you about their health and how to care for them. His foster checked in to say: I adore Ziggy He is adorable, and I really enjoy him. He is very wobbly when trying to stand/walk and his head is also wobbly. Ziggy is not able to walk standing up on his own but he gets to where he wants to go by flopping or dragging himself. It is actually quite impressive how quickly he can maneuver across a room when he wants something. He can sometimes get himself to a standing position, but he falls over as soon as he tries to take a step. He can eat and drink on his own but does so by lying down. Ziggy loves being on laps and purrs a lot. He gets super excited when one of us comes into the room to see him and tries to run towards us. For about 20-30 minutes each night, he gets a huge burst of energy and plays wildly- looks like a fish out of water, flopping all over. He loves spring toys and the little soft stuffed mice toys.
