Meet Deena Deena is a 6-month-old, ~14 lb spitz-type mix with a soft, fluffy black coat, adorable perky ears, and a playful, puppy personality to match. This little girl didnt have the easiest start she was found running along a busy road in Kentucky and understandably came into rescue a bit unsure of the world around her. But with time, care, and consistency, Deena has already made wonderful progress and is starting to show her sweet, happy personality more each day. She absolutely loves being outside, running and playing, especially with dogs her size or smaller. Larger dogs can feel a bit overwhelming for her, so she would do best with similarly sized canine friends or as the only dog where she can build confidence at her own pace. Deena is still very much a puppy active, playful, and curious but she also has a soft, affectionate side. Belly rubs are her favorite, and once she feels comfortable, she happily soaks up attention from her people. Shes been doing well with her potty routine and will also use a pad if needed.
