Meet Zekey, our lovable 7-year-old mixed breed with a heart as big as his smile! He came to us from a local animal shelter and has quickly shown everyone just how sweet and affectionate he truly is. Zekey absolutely loves meeting new people and will happily soak up all the attention and pets he can get. He can get a little excited and jumpy when greeting friends, but it's all part of his joyful, friendly personality. He's currently working on his potty training and general house manners, so he'll need a patient home willing to help him continue learning and building good habits. The good news is that he's eager to please-especially if treats are involved! Zekey never turns down a snack and will gladly show off his best behavior for a reward. Despite his playful side, Zekey walks very nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out for strolls. He has a moderate energy level, making him a great balance of fun and relaxation-he's just as happy playing as he is curling up for some cuddle time. Zekey would make a wonderful companion for families, couples, or seniors looking for a friendly, affectionate dog who's ready to be someone's loyal best friend.
