A volunteer writes: Sunshine Lollipops is an adorable little tiger found roaming an apartment building and brought to us by a Good Samaritan. From the start, Sunshine Lollipops made friends all around her, being cute, purring, asking for pets and making biscuits. Even the veterinary team got a taste of how sweet and wonderful she is. Why is Sunshine Lollipops in the medical room? She is very underweight and requires careful monitoring until we are happy with her weight gain. No worries...Sunshine Lollipops has a great appetite! Sunshine Lollipops can be adopted and as a matter of fact will thrive even better in a loving and caring home. So, ask about this lovely gal when you visit us at the care center. Sunshine Lollipops is waiting for you! Sunshine Lollipops is laying in the middle of her kennel, head held up and observing the room as the assessor approaches. When the kennel door is opened and she is spoken to, she gets up, greeting the assessor at the front of the kennel with soft head bunts. Sunshine Lollipops is able to be easily picked up but begins to squirm after a few seconds to be placed back down. When she is placed back into her kennel, Sunshine Lollipops remains at the front, continuing to solicit further attention by head bunting and continuing to allow and lean into all petting. Sunshine Lollipops interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.
