Meet Smudge & Maverick! Smudge here… I’ll go first, because, well, I’m the confident one (after a minute or two). I might take a second to check things out, but once I know I’m safe, I settle in fast and show off my outgoing, curious, and slightly charming personality. I like being held (yes, really), and with a little practice, I could absolutely become the kind of cat who jumps right into your arms. I came from humble beginnings—found behind a McDonald’s—but these days I’m all about love, comfort, and finding my person. And I’m Maverick—Smudge’s right-hand man. I’m not much for being picked up, but give me a cozy lap or a comfy belly to curl up on, and I’m all yours. I’m a climber at heart, so a cat tree (or even a full cat wall if you’re feeling ambitious) is basically my dream come true. I love to play and would do best with a confident buddy… which worked out perfectly, because I found Smudge. Together? We’re inseparable. We sleep tangled up, play together, and balance each other out perfectly—Smudge brings the bold, I bring the chill. We’re both young, handsome, and full of personality, and our bond is something really special. We’re looking for a home where we can stay together—because life’s just better that way. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
