Max is a lovable, expressive pug with a big personality and an even bigger heart! He enjoys long walks, cozy snuggles, ear scratches, and keeping watch out the window like a true neighborhood guard. He bonds closely with his people and loves being nearby-lounging on the couch, cuddling in bed, or trotting alongside you on a walk. Max is smart and playful, but likes to do things on his terms. He can be vocal and reactive to cars, trucks, and other outside activity, and is sensitive to sudden movements, so he'll do best in a calm, patient home. Max may have occasional potty accidents and needs supervision around small items he shouldn't eat. He's had dental work and does best with softer foods. He is not good with cats. Despite his quirks, Max is funny, affectionate, and devoted, and he's looking for a loving home with someone who has time, patience, and understanding to help him thrive.
