Meet Ruby! Ruby is a gorgeous 2-year-old mix (our vet guesses Rottweiler, Lab, and maybe something else special!) who weighs about 82 pounds. She's now fully vaccinated, healthy, and ready for her forever home. Ruby is a gentle girl who loves people. She's very well behaved, not destructive, and already potty trained. She sleeps through the night like a champ and knows some basic commands, including "sit" and "shake." Ruby enjoys her walks and does well on leash, though she sometimes gets excited when she sees new people because she just wants to say hello. She'll need some continued socialization and confidence building, but she's eager to learn. For now she goes on walks when it's quiet and calm, either at night or early in the morning. Her favorite things? Snuggling close, soaking up attention, and chasing after tennis balls! At this time, Ruby would do best as the only dog in the home, but with training and patience, she may learn to enjoy canine friends in the future.
