Titus came to me during the last freeze here in Houston when he was just a couple of months old—just a tiny, feral little guy trying to survive. He was incredibly scared of people and unsure of everything around him. He is now about 5 months old. Titus is the kind of cat who needs time to build full trust—and once he gives it, it really means something. He can be a bit skeptical of human interaction at first, but he’s making steady progress every day. With a slow approach and a soft voice, he now allows gentle pets and is even starting to tolerate being picked up. It’s the kind of progress that feels hard-earned and special. He gets along well with other animals and takes comfort in their presence. Because of that, Titus would do best in a patient, understanding home—ideally with another kitten around his age to help him continue building confidence. He’s also perfectly fine with small dogs, who don’t seem to bother him at all. Titus may not be the cat who rushes up to greet you on day one—but give him time, and you’ll earn something much more meaningful: his trust.
