Sport is an adult, neutered male Wheaten Terrier/Terrier mix currently in New Braunfels, TX. At 8 years and 1 month old, he is house trained, vaccinated, and small in size. Sport has special needs due to severe mobility and weight issues and will need a dedicated caretaker ready to assist with his health recovery.

About Sport

Sport urgently needs someone who can step in and help him get back on his feet—literally. His previous owner’s declining health meant Sport was left with a serious weight issue, now so severe that walking is extremely tough for him. Years of eating mainly canned meat and treats have left him morbidly obese, and now he requires a committed adopter or foster willing to carefully monitor his nutrition and help him regain mobility with a gentle exercise routine. Sport is up to date on his vaccines, house trained, and neutered. He’s been good with cats, dogs, and children, but he absolutely needs someone capable of aiding his recovery for at least two months. If you’re in a position to help this Wheaten Terrier mix restore his health and comfort, he needs you now. Born April 8, Sport is an Aries—no surprise he’s resilient, even in tough times. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
