🐶 Basics • Red or Little • Age / Size: 1 year about 25 lbs a small pup • Rescued in Texas 💙 Foster Note Red is a lover! She is a strong willed sassy queen! She makes the greatest snuggle and happy grunts. She is a cuddle bug! Be ready to snuggle. She is still getting the ropes of how to be a pet. She is quickly catching on and every day builds confidence and learns something new! 💛 Personality Snapshot • Sweet and curious cuddle bug, moderate energy. • Very people-oriented! • She does well navigating a new environment or situation. She is very smart! 🐕 Social & Home Life • Loves meeting new people! Will stop for small children in hopes of pets. • She is great with other dogs! She does not seem bothered when other dogs bark at her. She is quick to engage play with dogs we meet on our walk. • Cats or other animals (if known)? Not known • She is still getting the hang of settling in. She does really well when given a Kong or food puzzle to play. 🎓 Training & Manners • Potty trained? Very proficient at pee pads! • Crate trained? Unsure • Leash skills: She is new to a leash but learning quickly! • Commands known (if any): Sit, lie down, drop it. She especially knows them when treats are involved! 🌞 Daily Life • Typical day with you: We walk for about 30 mins in the mornings then she gets breakfast once we are back home. I’ll head to work and leave her a treat puzzle and/or frozen Kong. When I get back we go out for our second walk. I’ll feed her around 5pm. We will go out for one more walk before bed. As she is potty training we are going out every hour, “just to try.” • Exercise needs: Moderate she enjoys a few walks throughout the day. If it’s raining she is ready to stay inside all day. • Favorite activities or toys: Bully rolls! Kong chew toy! 🏡 Ideal Home • Only dog / With dog / Either: Either! I think having another dog would help to model some behaviors for her. She is very smart and quick to learn. • Good fit for apartment living? Yes! She did well hearing doors opening and closing. She was not bothered by bumps or loud noises from neighbors. **Red previously tested positive for heartworm and was treated before she left Texas** INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
