Shima is happiest curled up with you on the couch or socializing from her stroller when you’re out with friends. She's calm, quiet, and has mastered the art of giving affection, always knowing how to make her person feel loved. Though Shima’s back legs don’t work, she doesn’t let it dampen her spirits. She navigates life with charming confidence and is currently learning the ropes of her new wheelchair for walks. House trained and gentle, Shima reliably lets you know when the mail arrives like a diligent canine receptionist. She does well with other dogs after a careful introduction and loves children, though her ideal family is one that understands her "extra special" needs and is ready to give her the attention she deserves.
