About Winnie
Meet Winifred, known as Winnie, a 3–5 year old shepherd/husky mix who wants nothing more than to be part of your world. After landing on the Carson shelter’s red list with her pups, she’s spent recent months proving just how special she is—always right in the midst of family life, soaking up affection and quietly watching over her people. Mellow and sweet, Winnie brings an easy, comforting presence to any home and absolutely loves kids. Her favorite spot is by the door, waiting for her foster siblings to return from school. Winnie is fully house trained and quickly lets you know if she needs to go outside. She’s still learning to relax when left alone but has made steady progress and gets more confident each day. She does best in a home where someone is present much of the time or can bring her along on everyday outings. Winnie is friendly with other dogs, especially after a gentle introduction. She’s ready to transition from devoted mother to the true center of attention in her own forever home, where loyalty and love await both ways. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
