Sherbs showed up on our porch several months ago, an adorable orange and off-white kitty who was shy and curious at first. He eventually became more vocal and affectionate, meowing loudly at our window and door, and rubbing against our legs, asking for pets when we came out to feed him. We made a cozy little spot for him on our porch, and he always came back. One day he showed up with an open wound on his back. We decided to foster him and try to help him find a home. He had a few other ailments that needed tending to, and after several weeks in quarantine and recovery, he emerged with a clean bill of health and a whole lotta energy! He's had so much fun exploring our home. He loves playing with toys and running up and down the stairs. He has unfortunately not gotten along well with our cat, so we've been keeping them separated and he still spends each night in the little room that's been all his since the end of January. Sherbs would do well in a home with no other cats, and perhaps even with no young children. He's been fine with my kids, but they have really left him alone. He can be a little frisky at times! Overall, Sherbs is adorable and fun. We've loved watching him play with toys lately. He loves the little stuffed mouse toys the most. Sherbs Malone is under a year old and is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. He is Affectionate, Athletic, Brave, Curious, and Playful.
