About Girl

Girl is a young Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler mix, estimated at around 1.5 to 2 years old. She came from a good Samaritan couple who took her in until help could arrive, and now she’s searching for a home where she can grow into her best self. Girl is sweet-natured and has made real progress since arrival, showing a playful streak with other dogs. While she isn’t the biggest fan of small dogs, she’s learned how to get along with them. She loves being called over and does very well in her crate at night. Recently, Girl’s picked up leash walking and continues to work on basic commands—treats go a long way with her. She’s eager to please and motivated by food. Her medium-length, cream-white coat suits her perfectly. Girl gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, so she’d fit right in with an active, multi-pet family. She’s been spayed, is up to date on vaccines, and received her ProHeart 12 protectant in January 2026. Girl is house trained, healthy, and ready for the next step: her forever home.
