About Baby
Baby is part of a bonded pair with her best friend Roxie, and these two share a special connection that fills a room with warmth and laughter. Baby is a five-year-old Dachshund who adores lap time, cherishes naps, and gives all the affection she has. She moves at her own gentle pace, having undergone two spine surgeries, so she’ll need a home where jumping is prevented and a bit of extra help for safe, easy movement is provided. Crate training is checked off her list, and she’s still working on potty training alongside Roxie. This duo thrives on togetherness—cuddling up indoors or taking in sunbeams outside. Baby shines most in cozy, quiet homes and isn’t a fan of children but gets along great with other dogs. Both are champion-level barkers and will happily voice their opinions. The ideal home is patient, has a sunny spot for Roxie, and offers Baby lots of time on your lap. Double the dogs, double the comfort, and always double the love. Ready to fall in love? Questions about Baby
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Dachshunds like Baby generally adapt well to many living environments, but they do best in a gentle, stable home with minimal stairs. A quiet home with caring adults provides her with the sense of security she needs.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Baby's breed, the Dachshund, appreciates yard time but doesn’t require a large outdoor space. A small, secure yard for occasional sunbathing and exploration works well.
