About Tex
Tex is a large male Pit Bull Terrier born around September 8, 2022, making him a proud Virgo—the zodiac’s detail-oriented adventurer. He’s got all the typical bully breed enthusiasm and energy, and he’s happiest when he’s out on a hiking trail or sniffing around outside. Despite a rough start after being shot, Tex is fully recovered, both physically and in spirit. He’s bold, outgoing, and always ready to explore or tackle his next big adventure. Tex would thrive with someone who wants a buddy for outdoor activities and has the time to give him consistent, positive training. He’s house trained and does well in an apartment if his days include plenty of mental and physical enrichment. Tex gets along well with other dogs, preferring playmates close to his size—especially females, but he’s done fine with males too. At home, he’s a big cuddler and will gladly snuggle up with you, blanketed and happy, his head on your chest. This dog isn’t a fit for toddlers but would do well with adults or families with older kids (8+). A fenced yard would make his zoomies easier but isn’t strictly required if his needs are met. If you’re searching for a loyal hiking companion who loves a good couch cuddle as much as a long walk, Tex is ready to meet you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
