KNOWN WITH DOGS: Nikki has lived with another chihuahua, Peanut, for most of her life, and she would like to go to a home with another dog. KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not know how Nikki is with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information! KNOWN WITH KIDS: We do not know how Nikki is with kids, though he can be made nervous in loud, busy environments. KNOWN CUES: Working on Touch. KNOWN HOUSETRAINING &/OR CRATING: Nikki lived in a home for most of her life and appears to be housetrained. She also settles nicely in his crate. KNOWN LIKES: Cuddling, treats, laps, her "brother" Peanut. KNOWN DISLIKES: Loud and unexpected noises, some invasive handling. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Nikki was recently surrendered with her "brother" Peanut after living most of their lives in a home together, due to no fault of their own. She is still getting used to the shelter environment and feels more confident when she's safe and sound in the lap of a human friend.
