Meet Shasta 💛 — Your Gentle Smaller Giant in the Making Shasta is an 8-month-old sweetheart with a big heart and an even bigger future. She’s part Great Pyrenees and part Golden Retriever and she already shows all the best qualities of the breeds—loyal, intelligent, and incredibly loving. From the moment you meet her, Shasta’s warm, social personality shines. She absolutely adores people, is wonderful with kids, and gets along beautifully with other dogs and animals. Whether it’s a busy dog park or a calm day at home, she adapts with ease and confidence. She even attends doggy daycare twice a week and has become a staff favorite! Shasta isn’t just lovable—she’s also impressively well-trained for her age. She knows commands like sit, down, “on your side,” “go to your spot,” and waits patiently for her meals. She’s currently working on “come” and is highly motivated to learn (especially if treats or hot dogs are involved!). She’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and recently graduated to sleeping peacefully on the bedroom floor through the night. Shasta is truly a special dog—smart, affectionate, and ready to bond deeply with her forever family. The decision placing her with the rescue was not easy, and she is deeply loved.
