About Cordelia
Cordelia greets everyone with a big smile and the kind of energy you would never expect from a 12-year-old bluenose pittie mix. She’s small for her breed at about 45 lbs and always ready for a game of fetch, thanks to her obsession with chasing the ball. Despite some arthritis, she doesn’t let age slow her down—instead, she makes the most of every day, hoping to finally find her forever home after years of waiting. Cordelia thrives with consistent companionship. She wants to be the center of someone’s world, whether that’s a single person or an active couple who enjoys walks, hikes, or just spending time outside. While she prefers to be the only pet, Cordelia more than earns the spotlight with her loyalty and independence. She isn’t a fan of cats or sharing attention with other dogs. Once she trusts you, she’s affectionate and will happily follow you everywhere, but she likes affection on her own terms. Ideally, she’d love a yard for her ball games, though regular trips to play also keep her happy. Cordelia is waiting in Ventura, CA, and can even be transported to Arizona. Your new best friend is just one click away.

Questions about Cordelia
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Cordelia, as a pit bull terrier/american bully mix, does best in a home where she can be close to her people—she thrives with access to a yard or regular outings to play.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Cordelia would truly appreciate a yard to help her burn off energy playing fetch, though dedicated walks and trips to a park work if a yard isn't available.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While pit bull mixes can be great with children, Cordelia prefers an adult-only home or one with older children who respect her independent streak.
