Madeline
AvailableMadeline is a young Labrador Retriever with a yellow and fawn coat, living in North Charleston, SC. She’s 1 year and 4 months old, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Madeline is friendly with dogs and children, house-trained, and has an affectionate disposition that makes her a great fit for many homes.
About Madeline
Madeline walked out of a rural shelter with a litter of puppies clinging to her side. She raised them well—now most of her pups have homes, and the last couple are thriving in foster care. Madeline, on the other hand, is still waiting for her shot at a forever family. At just over a year old, Madeline is a Lab/Cattle Dog mix, though most people just call her an exceptionally lovable mutt. She has a gentle, eager-to-please personality—belly up for every greeting and always looking to play. Madeline gets along with other dogs and children, and she’s house- and crate-trained, with an unstoppable appetite for treats that makes training a breeze. Despite her flexibility, she’s not a fan of cats. Behind the scenes, adult dogs like her get passed by for puppies all the time, but she’s proof that older dogs have a lot to offer. Friendly, affectionate, and ready to settle in, Madeline is hoping for a family or a foster to give her a place to call home. If you want a sweet, playful companion, she’s the total package. Let’s make this former mama’s next chapter the best one yet. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
