She was scared, exhausted, and wouldn’t let anyone get close… until one day she was simply too tired to keep running. We’re so grateful she finally let her guard down, because it gave her the chance she deserved. Since then, Saffron has been fully medically treated and is officially ready for a home to call her own. Saffron has spent far too long living in a kennel environment and is patiently waiting for someone willing to give her the time and space she needs to decompress and build trust. She’s done well letting new people, learning there are loving people in the world. Saffron likes her kennel. It’s her safe place. When she needs quiet time, that’s where she goes, and that’s okay. She would thrive with someone who respects that boundary and allows her to feel secure. Saffron is dog friendly, kid friendly, and currently being cared for through a partnership with a local veterinary clinic that has helped ensure she’s healthy and ready for her next chapter.
