About Milly
The owner of those expressive eyebrows is our wonderful girl Milly! She came all the way from Puerto Rico to Colorado thanks to a wonderful team of rescuers. She's about four months old, and is learning so much about this big wide world. Milly takes a minute to warm up to humans, but once she does (within 24 hours), we hope you like kisses! We have no doubt that she will be a loyal, loving companion to whoever is lucky enough to snag her. This gal is working on so many things and making so much progress: she's working on crate training, potty training, and leash training! One thing we've noticed about Milly is how smart she is. Not only is she receptive to training from humans, but she can catch on to new tricks and skills just by watching an adult dog! Milly is doing well with her adult foster sibling, and is curious about her cat foster sibling -- she's only showing curiosity! She's so young, and so curious, that we have no concerns about her ability to get along with children or other types of animals. Milly is not yet spayed and still needs to finish her vaccine cycle, but she is available as a foster-to-adopt. This is when a future owner takes over as the foster, and once all the adoption criteria are met, they complete the process! Usually, satos (homeless dogs from Puerto Rico) are a mix of many breeds, some chihuahua, some pit, and you name it! They are always loving and grateful. We do not know what breed Milly is, possibly a schnauzer/jack russell mix, but your guess is as good as ours! Whatever she is, she's adorable. We anticipate she will grow into a small/middle-sized adult, possibly around 25-35lb, but of course, they do sometimes surprise us! If you are interested in adopting this pup, please fill out the application here. There is a $400 adoption donation for Milly.
